Graham has worked for a major insurance company for some years. He and his wife have two children, the elder of whom has cerebral palsy. The child cannot stand or walk unaided but is a suitable candidate for SDR surgery. The problem is that the surgery is not yet funded in his area and will cost in the region of £50,000 before additional physiotherapy costs are taken into account. Family and friends have carried out numerous fundraising activities but are still well short of the total cost.
We are funding the balance of the cost of the operation and physiotherapy to give Graham’s child the chance to walk and develop in the same way as most other children; something which Graham and his family are profoundly grateful for.
